Back in 1977, a University survey discovered that of a list of known fears the fear of Public speaking rated higher than the fear of death! Seinfeld added to this by claiming that a person at a funeral would rather be in the coffin than give the euligy. While I personally don’t agree with these findings, the fear of speaking to groups of people in public is very real. The fear of course is more of a mental variety than physical, unless the people you are speaking to are a hostile crowd bent on aiming missiles and other dangerous stuff your way as you speak. The fear we feel when having to speak in public can create all kinds of stress and concerns, which is completely conquereable with training and practice. My speaking workshops have helped many in their quest to overcome this fear, with incredible success. A two day hands on workshop with limited class numbers for greater personal attention. Fun modules and intensive information on all that is needed to be a successful speaker either in the speaking industry of sales, teaching or public office. If you find that in the future you will be called on to make a speech or to perform in public this speech workshop is the way to go.
